Blue Blood

Exploring the nature of blood, Blue Blood, and the repartée of the juxtaposing colors. Imagining platelets coursing through arteries and veins and arteries, from and to the heart, with and without oxygen. The painting crashes more than blends. The colored pigments together, making more a reference to distinct particles, rather than blended color fields.

Again, in this series, I am searching for more intensity and rapidity in color. Evoking notions that leave the viewer more searching and uncomfortable, in a state of suspension.
